Aether is an immersive installation where the user can generate a soundscape by taking different positions in the space, relative to the interaction spots.

The installation consists of 3 interaction spots with each an Arduino connected to a set of speakers where the user can influence the sound by walking towards or further away from the speakers. As the interaction spots are distributed around the room, the experience of each sound fluctuates when the user moves through the room.

This installation was made in collaboration with Marinus van den Oever and Sabine Perigault.
